Phytoform Labs Wins Golden Ticket to NC State’s Seed2Grow Incubator

Back to News

We’re thrilled to share that Phytoform Labs has been awarded Bayer’s Golden Ticket to join North Carolina State University’s Seed2Grow AgTech Incubator, becoming the first international company to participate in the program. Through this partnership with Bayer Crop Science and the North Carolina Plant Sciences Initiative (N.C. PSI), we will receive 12 months of access to world class lab facilities, business and technical mentorship, and an outstanding ag innovation network within NC State’s Plant Sciences Building.

This marks an important step in our continued U.S. expansion as we accelerate the commercialization of our AI led, gene editing platform, starting with our potato programs aimed at reducing food waste, preserving crop quality, and delivering value across the supply chain.

A huge thank you to Bayer and the Seed2Grow team for their confidence in our technology and vision.

As our co-founder William Pelton shared:“Access to Seed2Grow’s facilities, expertise and network will accelerate our work in the U.S. and help us bring game changing potato traits and other technologies to market.”
